I had the most wonderful experience staying at this luxurious castle hotel. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like royalty. They were incredibly helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of amazing. The room I stayed in was simply stunning. It had all the modern amenities I could ask for, including a comfortable sitting area, a terrace with beautiful views, and even an in-room safe to keep my valuables secure. The overall ambiance of the hotel is truly enchanting, and it felt like stepping back in time to a bygone era of grandeur and elegance.

This hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Beautiful interior design of the restored Castle.

Restuarant closed on Wednesday but two others nearby.

The hotel is located in a very quiet village that allowed us to relax during our Xmas break. The best aspect of our stay was the food. The portions were large and tasty, and we had a good range of dishes to choose from. , we were pleasantly surprised when we were offered freshly squeezed orange juice every morning at breakfast time. The Christmas decoration gave the hotel an extra cozy touch.

We encountered a few drawbacks during our stay. Although our room was spacious, the heating was not working properly, and we found ourselves shivering during the cold winter nights.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. I'm not sure if that was because the hotel was so empty or not.

A brilliant hotel.Staff superb and it is well worth a visit just for the experience of staying there.

Great medieval look inside, impressive decoration, and that old-time feeling. Delicious dinner, with elaborate and diverse dishes and ingredients. The location is very quiet, perfect to escape for a few days with your loved one. Surrounded by nature, you can find charming nearby walking trails for romantic walks. The enormous bed offered a unique experience and allowed us to have a great night's sleep.

Sadly, the staff wasn't friendly or helpful. We had some language barriers since they only spoke Spanish, and we don't.

Reception not friendly, kept us waiting, first room shown to us was not cleaned, second also not ready, third was ok. Tv old and made noises.

Good facilities - nice experience of a well-refurbished castle; quiet; reasonably priced restaurant - good food; air-con.

In-room hot drink facilities would enhance; Wi-fi in room required - only available in foyer; we only had a small room, comfy chair would have been welcome - no space; shower clumsy for older person!

Spectacular castle room, helpful staff, arrival drink, vast breakfast buffet, hidden gem.

    No issues.

The staff were friendly and helpfull, the food was excellent and the castle was interesting.

Our only complaint was the size of the bedroom window and small double bed. Unfortunately being English we are taller the the average French or Spanish people, my husband is 6ft 2" , thus a small bed is difficult. Also whilst appreciating the asthetics of the castle a room with only an arrow slit for its means of natural light and fresh air is not that pleasant.

We stayed in a large, impressive hotel in a small, quiet village. The reception area had a big marble counter-top. Despite being out of season, the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, providing a computer at reception for guests to use. The spacious and modern rooms had everything we needed; the huge bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a shower. Breakfast was filling with plenty of food. At the bottom of the road, there were options to eat at a nearby hotel or bar.

We had an incredible experience staying in a medieval castle that was converted into a hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff who helped us with our luggage and provided us with a refreshing arrival drink. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the room was modern but still preserved its medieval charm. The room was very clean, and the staff cleaned it daily. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of warm bread and different options. The hotel was located in a quiet and safe location.

    Nothing that we didn't like.
